SUMMER SALT is a collaboration between Chef Connor Dore, and farmer Heather Sedlacek of Bayleaf Farm & Hospitality.
In 2019, Summer Salt began a farm-to-table pop up series at Isabel's Bakery & Cafe, which became a beloved experience for locals and tourists alike.
"We wanted to create an ambiance closer to a dinner party with friends than a restaurant. After two years at the Bakery, we found the perfect, permanent home on the Avalon Boardwalk!"
Ingredients are sourced daily from local farms and fishing boats, and guests are welcomed like friends and family. The succulent chicken served at dinner is raised by Heather herself at their 23 acre farm in Goshen. "We are guided by sustainable agriculture, and seek to offer meaningful culinary experiences, curated for the South Jersey Shore."
